I know two posts in one day, but here he is…. HENRY!!!
He is a little border terrier mix of some type, maybe a jack border, but who knows. He is one year old and was surrendered to a rescue group by his owners. He is still getting used to us but overall he seems to be adjusting quite well, for only being here two days. Hector is still get used to him, but he seems to like him. They wrestle then they lie down together or alone, or the snuggle up with me, then they wrestle again. He likes to cuddle on laps, and is smaller then Hector, and therefore suited to the life of the lap dog. He also thinks he is huge, just like Hector, so now we have two feisty little terrors I mean terriers on our hands. Luckily unlike Hector, he has no dog aggression, so hopefully he can get Hector to give that up. He does like to bark more and since he is still puppy like he does mouth a bit, but with a little training and lots of treats, he should be able to turn into the perfect second doggy. Of course now we just need to get them to stop sleeping on our bed and all will be well, or we have to get a king size bed so we all fit. They only weigh 13 -15lbs each but take up a lot of space on the bed. The other option is to play princess and pea, and just pile a bunch of mattresses up so that it is too tall for them to get up
Cheers everyone.
